Project overview

This cultural centre was conceived as a civic landmark for a rapidly growing urban district seeking to establish a strong sense of community identity. The design draws inspiration from the geometry of traditional weaving patterns found in the region, translating these motifs into a dynamic structural grid that defines both the exterior envelope and interior spatial organisation.

The programme accommodates a 600-seat auditorium, exhibition galleries, artist studios, a public library wing, and an open-air amphitheatre integrated into the landscaped roof.

A central atrium connects all major functions vertically, allowing natural light to penetrate deep into the building while creating informal gathering spaces at every level that encourage spontaneous social interaction.
