Project overview

Situated on a narrow infill plot in the historic city core, this mixed-use building required a sensitive approach to massing that respected the scale and rhythm of the surrounding heritage streetscape. The podium responds directly to adjacent cornice heights before stepping back to allow a slender tower to rise above without visual conflict.

The lower floors house flexible commercial spaces, while the upper levels contain 22 serviced apartments with private terraces that overlook a restored 19th-century square below.

Facade detailing references the ornamental brickwork of neighbouring buildings through a contemporary reinterpretation using terracotta rainscreen panels and custom-cast bronze joinery elements at street level.
